What We Believe

The statements below are meant to give you a deeper idea of what we believe as a church.

At New Life Church, We believe:

We believe the Bible is the Word of God. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant.

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He is eternally existent in three persons God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son. He being 100% God and 100% man is the only man to live a sinless life. Because of His life and sacrifice He alone is the only way to forgiveness and the Father.

We believe that sin separates us from God. Because sin entered the world so also death entered the world.

We believe Every Person Can Have a Restored Fellowship with God Through ‘Salvation’ (accepting Christ’s offer of forgiveness for sin).
We believe that the change in a person's life is evidence of salvation. We become a new creation, being transformed into the image of Christ.

We believe in Water Baptism by immersion as a public statement of the change that has taken place after salvation.

We believe that without the power of the Holy Spirit in the believer's life, one cannot live a Holy, transformed life. The Holy Spirit begins His work at salvation and works in the believer to produce the Fruit of the Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit gives living and active gifts to the believer as we seek him.  The work of the Holy Spirit is available to all believers today. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to witness and live a transformed life.

We believe the Church has a mission to seek all who are lost in sin and share the good news of salvation. We believe ‘the Church’ is the Body of Christ and consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God’s offer of redemption (regardless of religious denomination) through the sacrificial death of His son Jesus Christ.

We believe that Communion is a remembrance of Christ’s sufferings on the cross and a celebration of our salvation. It is an opportunity for a believer to examine him/herself and experience forgiveness.

We participate in Communion on the first Sunday of the month.

We believe that Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers.

We believe that Jesus ministry demonstrated access to the healing of our bodies and the tis work on the cross is also part of our physical healing. We believe as James states that those who are sick should call on the church to pray and the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well.
